The key learning from the book "The Kybalion" is the concept of the Seven Hermetic Principles, also known as the Seven Principles of Truth. Are they to be considered the rules of the Universe? These principles are:
The Principle of Mentalism: All is mind, the universe is mental.
The Principle of Correspondence: As above, so below; as below, so above.
The Principle of Vibration: Everything is in motion; nothing is at rest.
The Principle of Polarity: Everything has two poles; everything has its opposite.
The Principle of Rhythm: Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides.
The Principle of Cause and Effect: Every cause has its effect; every effect has its cause.
The Principle of Gender: Everything has masculine and feminine principles; gender manifests on all levels.
The first principle is really the foundation of EVERYTHING!
The principle of mentalism is a belief in the power of the mind to influence and control the external world. It suggests that our thoughts, beliefs, and intentions have the ability to shape our reality. Mentalism posits that our thoughts and emotions are energy that can be used to manifest desired outcomes, attract success, and create positive changes in our lives. It emphasizes the idea that our thoughts create our reality and that we have the ability to consciously choose and direct our mental focus in order to achieve our goals. In essence, mentalism suggests that the mind is a powerful force that can shape and create our experiences.
